Staff are not one general bonus. Each role helps a different part of the stable, and each staff member has limited uses.

| Jockey | Race timing, positioning, patience, and consistency. |
| Groom | Horse support such as fatigue, mind, morale, surface comfort, or injury prevention. |
| Vet | Recovery, extra Energy during recovery, and injury prevention. |
| Scout | Better Market scouting reports and earlier information reveals. |
Read the specialty, not just the job title
Two Trainers can help in different ways. One may be better for race prep while another is better for normal training. The same idea applies to the other roles.
The specialty description on the staff card is the part that tells you what the staff member actually changes.
Uses matter
Staff contracts have limited uses. Do not spend the best staff member on every small action just because they are available. Save useful specialists for the horses and races where the bonus matters.
Some staff work with a specific horse
Grooms and Vets can be assigned where their horse-specific effect matters. Staff that need an assignment will show that option on the Staff page.
Equipment is assigned to horses
Equipment also has limited uses. Assign it from Inventory. A horse cannot have two items of the same equipment type assigned at the same time.
Renewing an item restores its uses. The next renewal can cost more, so keep an eye on the price instead of renewing everything automatically.
The Facilities page
The Facilities page shows the buildings currently attached to your stable. In the current Alpha build, the page is mainly an overview. Treat only bonuses and upgrade effects that are actually shown in the game as active.
The larger tile-and-space facility system is still being built, so the guide will expand when those upgrade rules are live.
Use Finances to see where the money went
The Finances page shows your balances and transaction history. If the stable suddenly feels short on cash, check the ledger before guessing. Market purchases, race entries, breeding, renewals, and rewards all leave a record.
A simple operations rule
Buy support for a reason. A smaller stable with the right Trainer, Scout, Vet, or equipment for its actual plan is usually easier to manage than buying every available option.
