How to play TRM
Start your stable and enter your first race
Create your stable, choose two free starter horses, and prepare for your first race.
1 · Create your stable
Name your stable and choose your colors
Start by naming your stable and selecting your racing colors and pattern. Your silks appear with your horses in races and replays.
Setup takes less than a minute. Once confirmed, you go straight to choosing your starter horses.

2 · Starter horses
Choose two starter horses
Starter horses are free and stay with your stable permanently. Compare their five core attributes—Speed, Acceleration, Endurance, Handling, and Mind—along with their preferred surface and distance.
Try to choose horses with different surface or distance preferences. This gives you more race options.
3 · Learn about your horses
Look beyond the overall rating
Open a horse's profile to check its health, Energy, and upcoming actions. Assigned staff and equipment can provide extra bonuses.
Horses can race and train starting at age 2. Breeding unlocks at age 3. Horses retire from racing after age 8 and cannot breed after age 12.

4 · Preparation
Train, prepare, rest, or practice
Choose an action for your horse: train an attribute, prepare for a specific race, or rest to recover Energy. You can also assign a trainer to boost training gains.
Want to see how racing works first? Run a practice race. Practice races happen instantly, use no Energy, and have no entry fee.

5 · Enter a race
Choose a race, jockey, and tactic
Open the Races screen and pick an eligible race. Pick a jockey—use the free local rider or hire a professional—and set your race tactics (Conservative, Balanced, or Aggressive).
Check the cost and deadlines before confirming your entry.

6 · Results and progression
Review the result and improve
Official races are added to your stable's record when they finish. Watch the replay, check your horse's condition, and plan your next move.
Breeding unlocks after your first official race is completed.
